For base jumper and wingsuit flyer Jeb Corliss it was a lucky break.
The video featured on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel was made public this week and featured none other than Jeb Corliss. Earlier this year, Corliss was involved in a wingsuit accident that broke both his legs.
Now, as the video was made public on HBO, Jeb took to Facebook to explain what went wrong. In short, he said that he was going for a black balloon just a few feet above the surface when the wind gusts pushed him too close causing his accident. The accident which broke both of his legs happened as he was base jumping from the Table Mountain in South Africa.
Even though the fall is pretty scary and would put the fear in any mere mortal, Jeb is in no mood to give up base jumping and plans on being back soon.
