Lou Dobbs from Fox News was on The Daily Show Monday night in order to discuss the economy and the 2012 GOP primary race. He should have known he was going to be faced by Jon Stewart! Stewart started off the interview with a few Fox News jabs that Dobbs took in stride.

Stewart asked Dobbs, “How's things going business-wise?”  Dobbs kind of fell flat when he replied saying, “Going great, going absolutely great at Fox Business.”

Surely Jon Stewart was pointing towards the economy, “Oh ok, but not the economy, you're talking about Fox Business.”

Dobbs then went on to expand his answer saying that he thought that the economy had reached a turning point since last October and that things are improving slowly and gradually. Stewart was quick to ask, “How will Fox Business News blame that on Obama? Will it be difficult?”

“President Obama has all his causal relationships already established, we just report the facts,” Dobbs answered. Again Jon Stewart mocked Fox News, “Oh, now when did that start?”

When asked to weigh in on the GOP primary race Dobbs described the race as, “interesting, galvanizing, compelling, entertaining...this is really good stuff!”

Jon Stewarts response was to die for! “But in the way that 'Fear Factor' is…There's nobody emerging that feels statesman-like. It's more like ‘oh my gosh, he just ate a bull testicle!’”

Yet again Jon Stewart has managed to make a put a point across in his pun-intended, mocking fashion.
