Its actors and producers are proud of creating a show that ties Bill Clinton’s DNC speech ratings; it is of course nothing less than an honor but the show that makes them earn more than $4000 a day is watched because people like making fun of this family that lives in Georgia. Keeping in mind the entire backlash ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ is facing, we are giving you 3 reasons to hate this show.
1. Unapologetic Mother
Ms. Shannon has introduced a family that is unapologetic and unembarrassed about what they do. Mama June is exploiting her kids and is using her daughter and family to mint money, as much as she can. When she was asked if the criticism bothers her, she said: “We're very well compensated." It means as long as she is paid for it, she has no issues with whatever people say. She further mentioned, "For every person that's hating on us, there's three people that love us."

Check out what she says about her haters in her interview:
June admits that she is obsessed with extreme 'couponing', calling it 'better than sex'.
2. Super Juice Mocktails:
The family is obsessed with sugar laden drinks. June and Alana shot to fame early this year under controversial circumstances, after June was seen giving Alana mixture of Mountain Dew and Red Bull (Go-Go- Juice) on an episode of Toddlers & Tiaras.

Take a look at Honey Boo Boo having ‘Go-Go- Juice’ in this video:
Mama June was blamed of doping the child with high-sugar snacks and the caffeinated drink she called 'Go-Go- Juice', defended herself by saying: 'There are far worse things. I could be giving her alcohol.'
That’s not all, we all know Honey Boo Boo everything that is sweet and half of her name is Honey for crying out loud!
June plans a lemonade stand for the family to save money before their big pageant that is coming up in an episode and the rising star’s mom reveals her secret ingredient to making delicious lemonade, Tons of Sugar! "The lemonade I make has got a good 5 pounds of sugar," says June. "I don't like stuff that, you know, tastes nasty. I like a lot of sugar."

The family was visited by the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services in March, according to The National Enquirer. The investigators were called to the home as a result of Mama June and Mike Thompson's unusual parenting methods which include feeding Alana caffeinated drinks as well as road kill for dinner.
3. Raising Obnoxious Children
The kids in the family are intolerable. They do what they want to do and no one stops them.
A 6-year-old pageant queen, Alana frequently makes amusingly ridiculous observations, whether she’s defending her pet pig’s sexuality “You can’t tell that pig what to do” or questioning about her orders in restaurants “Why can’t my sides be meat?”

Once she was spotted leaving for school wearing glittery silver kitten heels with her uniform and also carried a fancy handbag alongside her backpack. Ridiculous! She has turned into a show-off with all the fame that she is getting!
The Georgian family has welcomed the newest little member to reality-TV stardom, baby Kaitlyn, who is Honey Boo Boo’s elder sister, Anna’s baby, who had just turned 17 this year. June had her first baby when she was 15, therefore she doesn’t restrict teen pregnancies, at least not in her family!
Since the baby has arrived and Anna has to finish her high school, June takes care of Kaitlyn. Honey Boo Boo Say about her niece, "Baby Kaitlyn is so cute, much cuter than her pet piglet Glitzy.”
And when every kid of the family is in news, how can Lauryn aka Pumpkin stay behind who is seen dipping a pacifier into a can of the caffeinated drink, before allowing her 17-year-old sister Anna's newborn to suckle on it.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s editors still appreciate the Thompsons, inviting the audience to laugh at them.Time’s James Poniewozik called it a “mocking format” and added that it appears as if “some producer anticipated laughing and gasping and tweeting OMG.”
Executive producer Tom Rogan: “They are being portrayed in a very real way, and if you look at most reality television, it’s very carefully edited, very carefully presented. Part of our attempt to make this come across as being real and raw and honest was showing everything that happened as it happened.”
