Adele Acceptance Speech At the Brit Awards 2013 VIDEO

The Brit Awards 2013 happened last night where Adele won the award for the best ‘British single’ for her theme song for James Bond, Skyfall.

Adele was not at the Brits this time around, citing her preparation for Oscars this weekend - though she sent in a recorded message.

"Thank you so much for this Brit Award, it means a lot," she said. Adele took a cheeky dig at the producers for last year’s blunder when her best album acceptance speech was cut short.

"Sorry I can't be with you tonight, I'm in LA rehearsing for the Oscars. I won't keep you too long because I don't want to interrupt the best album speech at the end of the night. But I love you all."

Adele’s Skyfall theme from the James Bond movie is nominated for an Academy award. She has already won several awards for the Bond theme song.
