Amanda Bynes will not work for Playboy after she declined the company’s offer for her to host a radio show. Amanda Bynes considered the offer, but won’t have time as she is planning to record an album.
Playboy, usually known for publishing nude women, did not want Amanda’s body, but instead her voice. Playboy offered to the young starlet a chance to co-host the company’s afternoon talk-show. In recent years, Playboy has taken steps to expand their brand into more than just a sexy magazine. Adding a name as infamous as Amanda Bynes would certainly lead to the type of cultural appeal Playboy wishes to reclaim.
Amanda Bynes has had no shortage of drama lately. In the last month, Bynes has made news after she participated in several erratic incidents while inside her New-York apartment. The former Nickelodeon star, now 27, tweeted scandalous pictures of herself, admitted to having plastic surgery, and faced police after she threw a marijuana bong out the window. Compared to these incidents, a job at Playboy seems benign.
Amanda Bynes’ may want to cash in on her infamy soon; who knows how long it will be until people lose interest in this particular train wreck.
