Jenna Dewan is stepping up into American Horror Story.
The former Step Up star has joined the second season of FX's anthology series American Horror Story, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Dewan will co-star opposite Maroon 5 and The Voice's Adam Levine and round out a pairing described as "The Lovers" in the sophomore season of the drama from Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Dewan, aka Mrs. Channing Tatum, joins a Season 2 cast that includes returning stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. The series will be set at an East Coast mental institution for the criminally insane in the 1960s and feature the cast portraying completely different characters from their Season 1 roles.
New stars joining the mysterious second year include Secret Circle's Chris Zylka, FlashForward's Joseph Fiennes, Big Love's Chloe Sevigny, Heroes' Clea Duvall as well as James Cromwell, Mark Consuelos and Lizzie Brochere.
American Horror Story's first season garnered 17 Emmy nominations earlier this month, tied for the lead with AMC's Mad Men.
EW first reported the news.
