We Now Know Who Designed Angelina Jolie’s Perfect Wedding Dress

September 02, 2014: The wait is over. This is indeed a big treat for all Brangelina fans out there.

After it was revealed that the Hollywood star-couple quietly tied the knot in France over the weekend following a two-year engagement, the first photos of Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress have appeared online, courtesy of People and Hello magazines.

The 39-year old actress wore a custom-designed ivory dress by Atelier Versace, embroidered with something rather special that no fashion designer in the world could have possibly created – multi-colored doodles by her six children.

The drawings by sons Maddox, 13 and Pax, daughters Zahara and Shiloh, nine and eight, and six-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox were embroidered by Atelier Versace designer Luigi Massi.

Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace tweeted an image of the dress, congratulating the actress.

Here's a closer look:

While the bride looked stunning in her simple yet uniquely gorgeous dress, Brad Pitt Pitt chose to wear a suit he already owned. The couple described it to People magazine as a “fun and relaxed” day.

Oh, and their 10-year-old son, Pax, baked the wedding cake.

Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, were wed on August 23, 2014 in a small chapel in Chateau Miraval in France. It was a non-denominational civil ceremony, according to the statement provided by publicist Martin Torres.

Over the past decade, whenever the power couple was asked about plans pertaining to matrimony, they always mentioned that their kids would ultimately make the decision.

Jolie explained her views of marriage to “The Sun” in 2010:

“I think it would be hard to say 'no' to the kids. They're not asking. They are very aware nothing's missing,” adding she and Brad want an even bigger family.

"We kind of joke about it because in the morning we're so tired. And we always look at each other and wonder, 'Are we ever gonna get sleep?' Yet we still love the idea of having more children."

Photos of the August 23 ceremony are to be published in this week's edition of People and Hello! magazines, which goes on sale on Wednesday.
