Pretty much girl wants to be svelte and in shape like most of our favorite celebrities. The only problem with that some celebs take it way, way too far. This look just isn't in the cards for most of us, in fact it's something extremely unhealthy.
Celebrities need to understand that as role models they have a duty to make sure they present the best possible image to the public - be it in their lifestyle choices or health.
Here are a few celebs who took their thinspiration a little too far...
Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker has always been a beautiful and a polished woman, The fashionable Sex and the City star stated that her thin body comes from good genes. She also said that she has a personal trainer and does yoga, but most people can't get this kind of skinny from yoga.
Reid has always been known for having a super thin frame. The American Pie star has always denied that she has had an eating disorder, but there are plenty of skeletal pictures of her.
Antonia Campbell Hughes
Antonia Campbell-Hughes underwent a rapid, drastic diet to play starving kidnap victim Natascha Kampusch in a film about an Austrian girl who had been kidnapped, held hostage, starved and tortured for eight years.
Campbell-Hughes admitted to replicating Kampusch’s starvation for the role. Hopefully in future this beauty won’t go to such extremes for a movie role.
Unfortunately, Italian fashion heiress Allegra Versace is no stranger to anorexia. In 2007 that her mother, Donatella Versace, released a statement confirming that her daughter was seeking treatment for her eating disorder. Since then, Versace has looked considerably healthier.
The 42-year-old actress looked shockingly thin in pictures showing her gaunt face and skeletal arms, which seemed to age her almost overnight. However, the star said she feels much happier in her 40s. "Turning 40 I honestly feel better than ever," she said. "I feel more confident with my body than I did in my 20s."
