2015 Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler wanted to do something really special for North Korea after Kim Jong Un parody movie The Interview caused international controversy last month.
They invited over a North Korean female reporter/army general to the glitzy Hollywood show and let her take a picture with Meryl Streep that Pyongyang could use – for anti-U.S. propaganda purposes, of course.
As Streep and the journalist (comedienne Margaret Cho in disguise) posed for the camera, someone crept up from behind and gave the world the best photobomb of 2015 – only two weeks into the new year.
Who was it?
Who else but “The Imitation Game” star Benedict Cumberbatch, who previously photobombed U2 at the Academy Awards last year.
Although he lost the Best Actor award to fellow British actor Eddie Redmayne, who won the category for portraying Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, Cumberbatch was unofficially crowned the photobomb king of the evening.
He seems to be getting really good at this, doesn’t he?
