With a host of musical acts including Paul McCartney, John Legend, Keith Urban, Metallica and Sara Bareilles among others  the performances at the 56th Grammy’s were fantastic. Here are our top 5 performances to watch from Grammy Awards 2014:

5 Taylor Swift: “All Too Well”

Taylor Swift sang “All Too Well” at the 2014 56th Grammy Awards and she played the piano as well. Complete with head banging, solemn looks the performance was calculated to produce a very somber look. Maybe this is a new direction for her?

4 Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder and Nile Rogers: “Get Lucky”

Daft Punk ended up grabbing 4 Grammy’s at the Grammy awards 2014 and it was all thanks to ‘Get Lucky’. The dynamic duo met up with other Grammy winners that included: Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder and Nile Rogers to perform the anthem of the year.  We weren’t the only ones loving the collaboration – the entire crowd was on their feet. 3 John Legend “All Of Me”

Is there anyone else with a more beautiful and soulful voice than John Legend? The R&B singer who was accompanied by his wife, Christine Teigen performed ‘All of Me’ at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Chrissy was also featured in the video which was a nice touch. The performance was so, so good.

2 Beyonce and Jay Z: “Drunk In Love”

Guess who opened the show with a massive bang? Beyonce and Jay Z – the queen and king of the music industry. Jay Z and Beyonce performed “Drunk In Love” and really that’s one great opening right there.

Isn’t this the hottest that Queen Bey has ever looked?

1 Madonna and Macklemore: “Same Love”

Madonna and Macklemore performed “Same Love” at the 2014 56th Grammy Awards.

The performance of the night paid homage to marriages – both same sex and straight unions. Queen Latifah, Mary Lambert and Ryan Lewis joined both Madonna and Macklemore in what is really the performance of the night. The entire Staples Center was on their feet and had tears in their eyes.
