Jimmy Fallon has had several memorable lip-sync battles on the "Tonight Show," but none of them compare to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's visit.
The trio competed against each other for two rounds of hilarious miming, and funny exchanges of quips. Shelton was the first to go, and despite looking rather unprepared, he actually delivered the lip-sync performance of the night. Not only did he perfectly act out Taco's "Putting On The Ritz," but he also nailed the tap dancing part.
Fallon went next, and he was pretty impressive, too, with Ellie Goulding's "Burn," but was nowhere near as good as Shelton. Stefani, meanwhile did an extremely amped up version of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." With her energy you wouldn’t be able to tell that she is a 44-year-old mother of three.
Shelton's first of Round 2 was Starship's famous 1987 hit "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," which Fallon joked was lip-synced in a Southern drawl.
Fallon then did an awesome job miming the extremely difficult and funny "Cocktails for Two," before the two guests winded up the segment with Lionel Richie and Diana Ross' "Endless Love." As if that weren't enough, the duo swapped the male/female lines.
