Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra is scheduled to appear in a nude photo shoot in the November issue of Playboy magazine. While the rest of her native country of India sees this as a disgraceful act of voyeurism, Sherlyn marks this as an achievement in her career.
Becoming the first Indian woman to pose nude for Playboy magazine claims that it is as simple as it sounds. She told BBC Hindi “It is not an easy task to be nude in front of the camera and look good at the same time.”
And while she is dwelling at the success of landing the shoot, critics around India are complaining about the status given to her by the magazine which introduces her as ‘Bollywood Goddess Sherlyn Chopra.’ Sherlyn has only starred in a few substandard Indian movies and the show Big Boss, India’s take on Big Brother.
@sherlynchopra You're too kind. We love your enthusiasm & support! People are going to be lining up & rushing to their comps for your shoot.

“I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy and nobody can take away that achievement from me,” she continued on BBC Hindi.
A series of interviews have sparked women rights activist against the starlet, which brings notice to reality of abused women in the country. Maybe Sherlyn doesn’t know that her vain actions are offending women across the nation and putting a damper on the fight against sexual harassment.
No one can prevent her from changing her mind now that she has her sister’s blessing.
My li'l sis just sent a text sayin' dat when a nude painting can b perceived as a form of fine art,den why treat a nude pic any differently!

But how will she disclose this to her mother? Even though the magazine is banned in her country, people still have access to it on the internet. Whatever the case maybe, Sherlyn just wants to be accepted the way she is whether this act boosts her Bollywood career or she is respected by people; she doesn’t really care.

“I don't know where my career is headed from here on. I don't know what I will do next, feature film or reality show or endorsements. All I know that whatever I do will be excellent work. I want to go ahead in life and not look back," she said.
