A chirpy Dolly Parton, donning an enormous afro wig and gold chains, playfully rapped about her breasts, mocked Miley Cyrus and told the host to "stick that in her pipe and smoke it," on the Queen Latifah Show.

The 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards gala officially kicked-off the Hollywood awards season with an elegant affair in Beverly Hills on Monday evening.

Harrison Ford, Matthew McConaughey and Sandra Bullock were among the brightest of stars that shone on the red carpet.

Harrison Ford, whose long career includes iconic roles in the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" franchises, was recognized for his achievements with this year's "Hollywood Career Achievement Award."

"I'm still here, I'm still working. I couldn't be happier. I have been lucky enough to work with incredibly talented people, some of the success we've enjoyed together has created a lot of options and choices in my career which has been a dream. By the way, I never thought about quitting I always thought about outlasting everybody else. That is what I thought about," he said.

Others stars that were honored included Sandra Bullock, Jake Gyllenhaal and Julia Roberts.

In a sneak peak, we can tell you that the evening was pretty sizzling. According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Kanye West made a surprise appearance, Lupita Nyong'o broke down in tears, Sandra Bullock cracked jokes, Chris Martin performed and Julia Roberts went barefoot at the first awards show of the 2013 season. “
