Actor Charlie Sheen from the FX show "Anger Management" takes part in a panel discussion at the FX Networks session of the 2012 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills, California, July 28, 2012.

Charlie Sheen has returned to Twitter less than a month after deactivating his official feed.

The Anger Management star quit the microblogging site last month, leaving his 7.5 million followers with one final message before signing off.

"reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out," Sheen wrote on July 12.

Sheen has now returned to Twitter to share an image from his father Martin Sheen's guest appearance on Anger Management.

"It's on! My pop guest stars Thursday on Anger Management. Watch my dad show up as my dad 9:30p on FX. Best yet!!" he tweeted on Tuesday (August 14).

It is not yet clear if Sheen plans to continue tweeting as he has not yet posted additional messages.

Sheen joined the microblogging site in March 2011 at the height of his public feud with Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre. He gained one million followers in less than 24 hours.

Anger Management airs Thursday at 9.30 ET on FX in the US. The series will air on Comedy Central in the UK this autumn.
