The R & b singer while talking about the horrific incident said, “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me, what can I say? I’m forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it.”
Chris further added, “Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals.”
The 23-year-old also hit back to Seth MacFarlane’s taunt at the 85th Annual Academy Awards by saying that the “unspeakably violent” movie Django Unchained was simply a “date night for Rihanna and Chris Brown.”
Rihanna’s boyfriend also said: “People attack me and criticise me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me anymore. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything.”
“I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted. I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.”
Chris Brown was sentenced to six months community service and five years probation after the incident in 2009.
Rihanna faced a lot of criticismfrom her friends and fans for getting back to Chris Brown after how shamelessly he behaved with her in the past.
Chris brown says, he has been forgiven for what he did. He might have been forgiven by her girlfriend but her fans will probably never truly forget his vile behavior.
