CHRISTIAN Bale wants to return as Batman!

The Dark Knight Rises star says he’s convinced he’s had his last adventure as the Caped Crusader but is ready should director Chris Nolan ever return to the franchise.

“Chris has always talked about this as being a trilogy so I think that’s it for us,” says Christian, 38.

“The plan was always to leave when the going is good but if Chris was to come back and decide there is another story he wants to tell I would want to do it.”

Bale recently admitted he’s starting to miss his Batman suit.

“For all the discomfort and the heat and the sweat and the headaches and everything from it, when you sit back and watch the movie at the end of the day, you go: ‘ell, that’s f***ing cool,’” he said.

“I will miss that. I liked the good bit of rubber!”
