Looks like the soccer records are not the only records Cristiano Ronaldo has set his eyes on to break.
The star soccer player attempted to break a selfie record held by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on Monday night at the premiere of his documentary Ronaldo, which follows the life and career of the 30-year-old Portuguese idol.
The movie premiered in London where Ronaldo got together with fans to break the Guinness World Record title for the most self-portraits, aka selfies, taken in three minutes.
He lined up fans for pictures and kept clicking selfies with each one of them.
I had a dream so real, I thought @Cristiano Ronaldo came to my house 😍 Then I woke up to reality. P.s. He took many selfies with me.— Justin Chan(: (@justinczw) November 1, 2015
Even though Ronaldo didn't break the record, he managed to further cement his position as one of the most-loved celebrities in the world.
Seeing all these selfies of people with ronaldo is actually made me jealous for the first time. so wish I could be there :(— Scott (@scottcooper0407) November 9, 2015
What is interesting to note here is that the man whose record Ronaldo was attempting to break, Dwayne Johnson, was rumored to be the reason of Ronaldo’s break up with his model girl friend of five years, Irina Shayk, earlier this year.
