"I have to wear my Gareth Pugh dress for five minutes every day to justify having spent that much money," says Daisy Lowe. Watch her explore London, talk fashion inspiration and discuss her own style icons, courtesy of Palladium Boots. Believe it or not, Daisy Lowe can do more than just dance like a pro in her underwear. Last month, news broke that the model was designing her own line of clothing for French brand Morgan. But would the designs mirror her own unique sense of style, or would she join the ranks of other, well, bad celebrity designers? Only time would tell. Daisy did give us a few hints about her collection through her interview with WWD, most notably about her attention to the size and shape of her garments. “I’m not big in any way,” Lowe told WWD, “But I do have a womanly shape rather than the normal model size, and so, of course, I’m extremely conscious of it. I’m reminded of it every time I go to work, so I had to make sure that [the clothes were] flattering to that shape.” Judging on what we can see from the ad campaign, which stars Daisy herself, the clothing is indeed body conscious. But truth be told, we’re not that impressed. The designs seem unoriginal and dare we say, cheap.
