"Paul gets in big trouble for overpaying his kids for their teeth.The tooth fairy is a very sacred part of a kids life. The joy of finding some money or candy under your pillow after you have just lost your tooth is infinitely comforting. Of course as your grow older you realize that it is the parents who have to pay for it. Paul Rudd just went ahead and inadvertently destroyed that for many parents and their kids. He narrated the entire tale on Letterman. His son lost two of his tooth. As has become customary that in this situation a parent is supposed to tell kids the story that a tooth fairy will come in the night and leave some treasure under the pillow in exchange for the tooth. Once Paul's son went to sleep and daddy turned to tooth fairy, the heist hit a snag. Paul only had $20 bills in his wallet and no change. So his son woke up to find $20 under his pillow the next morning. Now all of the parent in his son's class are angry since they cannot afford to give their kids $20 for teeth. Paul, trying to explain his actions to a local television station raised the curtains over what the entire tooth fairy deal is.
