Dr. Phil Deletes Rape Tweet After Backlash

American television host and “psychologist” Dr. Phil McGraw has sparked social media outrage aafter posting a vile tweet asking his followers whether it was okay to have sexual intercourse with a girl who is drunk.

Many wondered if the TV personality was intoxicated himself when he posted the question on Twitter where ‘such stuff’ goes viral at the speed of light.

But he was not apparently, which of course triggered the infuriated reaction on the internet. Phil deleted the tweet but there was enough time to grab a screen shot. Here’s what he posted:

And here’s what people said:

A fuming internet user also launched a Change.Org petition demanding the host to “publicly announce that he will produce and air a show that centers survivors’ voices and educates the public about the true definition of rape and sexual assault, as well as how to prevent it.”

While there is a lot of negative reaction, there also people who think that Dr. Phil was just asking a question for his show and didn’t mean anything wrong.
