But the original Elvis crypt is likely to gain a lot of attention. Elvis, among the best known rock 'n' rollers of all time, died in 1977 and following his funeral at Graceland, his body was temporarily entombed in the crypt of a private mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. After about two months, both his body and that of his mother were moved to a permanent site in the meditation garden on the grounds of Graceland. Beverly Hills-based Julien's said the lot for sale includes the crypt, opening and closing of the vault for burial, memorial inscription and use of a small chapel for a memorial service. The two-day sale on June 23 and 24 also includes a ripped T-shirt with "Hell" scrawled across it Keith Richards once wore while playing for the Stones.A robe that Amy Winehouse used in her video for smash hit "Rehab" will be sold, as will memorabilia and clothing owned by David Bowie, John Lennon and Michael Jackson. Sports items include a pair of shoes worn and signed by Michael Jordan, the hood of a race car signed by driving champion Tony Stewart and a Lance Armstrong skin suit worn in the 2003 Tour de France. LOS ANGELES — Extreme Elvis Presley fans, take note: the King's original crypt at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee that briefly housed Presley and his mother is up for auction, the Associated Press reported Monday.

The crypt, where Elvis was buried for a couple months before being being moved to his final resting place at Graceland, is part of Beverly Hills-based Julien's Auctions' sale of pop-music memorabilia taking place June 23 and 24, TMZ reported.

Though the idea of buying the music legend's crypt may give some the heebie-jeebies, CEO of Julien’s Auctions Darren Julien doesn't think the item is creepy in the slightest.

“I just consider that if you’re an ultimate fan of Elvis Presley, it’s an opportunity,” Julien told the New York Times. “It’s definitely a conversation piece. Only one person can say, ‘Hey, I’m going to be buried where Elvis Presley was.’”

The burial lot has a starting price of $100,000, which includes the opening and closing of the vault and crypt for burial; a memorial inscription; and the use of the chapel for a service, according to the Times. Transportation and funeral home charges are not included, and the crypt cannot be moved from its' original location, the Times reported.

Elvis' father Vernon always intended to bury Elvis at Graceland (where he now rests, unless you believe the conspiracy theories) but the sultry singer was interred in the marble and granite mausoleum until the state of Tennessee granted Vernon permission to bury his son on private grounds, CNN reported.

The crypt has been empty since the King and his mother left, marked only by a statue commemorating his brief stay there, according to CNN.

If crypts aren't your thing, some of the other items being auctioned off at the "Music Icons" sale include singer Amy Winehouse's robe from the “Rehab” music video and a cigarette packet signed by the Beatles, according to the Times.

Elvis' crypt is hardly Julien's Auctions' first star-studded sale, however: they also sold Michael Jackson's "Thriller" jacket, Marilyn Monroe's "River of No Return Dress," and one of John Lennon's jackets, TMZ reported.
