Enrique Iglesias Shows Us All Why You Shouldn't Try To Catch A Drone

The singer's sliced up fingers should serve as a painful reminder to stay away from drones.

Enrique Iglesias sliced his fingers open after he grabbed a flying camera drone during a concert in Tijuana.

A representative for the singer stated Iglesias was “semi-treated” at the venue. Although he was advised to end the show, the entertainer continued to perform for an additional 30 minutes.

“During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a point of view shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident,” the statement read.

Images from the concert show the performer attempting to draw a heart on his T-shirt using his own blood.

Iglesias’ publicist Joe Bonilla said the singer was later rushed to the airport.

"He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist," he informed. "We will continue to update as we have more info. Thank you all for your love and concern."

Despite the serious injury, Iglesias is still scheduled to perform his next show on June 3 in Mexico City.
