This time last year, the Internet went nuts over the novelty song "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)" by Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis.
The song's catchy tune, bizarre lyrics and hilarious visuals intrigued the audience so much that it now has almost half a billion views – 450.3 million to be precise. It was officially the top trending video of 2013 on YouTube and even cracked the Billboard Hot 100.
Well, the news today is that the electronic dance duo who masterminded that incredible hit are now back with another similarly weird song. This one is called "Trucker’s Hitch," and it's about the rather underappreciated skill of tying knots.
In the new song, the two crooners share with their listeners how they've learned tying all other kinds of knots except the incredibly difficult Trucker's Hitch. This one they just can't seem to get it right until the end of the song. They finally master that one, too, and then reveal the secret to tying this elusive knot at the end of the video.
To be honest, "Trucker's Hitch" is entertaining, but it's not even close to the level Ylvis reached with their breakaway hit last year.
