Where the fans are still mourning over the death of ‘Glee’ star quarterback Finn Hudson, the creators of the popular show are planning to honor Cory Monteith with a tribute episode.
Cory’s death came as a big shock for everyone; his friends, family, co-stars and fans. Losing him is indeed a great loss for the show and we can’t even imagine how difficult it would be for them to film this episode but like every other tribute on the show, we are sure, it’s going to be lovely.
While it was already expected, executive director Ryan Murphy confirmed a week’s delay in Glee’s return. He also later announced that they are doing a tribute episode for Cory.
The third episode of season five will be replaced with a tribute to the actor, Murphy confirmed.
"The right thing to do for the show, at least at this point, is to have that character pass. When we do the tribute episode to that character, we'll have to do it in a way where the castmembers will not have to re-create feelings of grief that they've had this week — but do it in an upbeat way."
Murphy plans for the show to go on a hiatus after the tribute episode.
While Cory will always be remembered and missed on the show, we wish best of luck to the entire cast and crew for their special tribute.
We already know it’s going to be beautiful.
