Hilarious Opening Monologue

Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were a hit all night, which doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone!

Among their best hits of the night were the following two:

 "I have not seen someone so totally alone and abandoned like that since you were on stage with James Franco at the Oscars," Fey to Anne Hathaway about the latter's performance in "Les Miserables."

While introducing George Clooney: "This next presenter is so handsome he makes young George Clooney look like garbage. Please welcome middle-aged George Clooney."

During the opener, Poehler also turned to “Zero Dark Thirty” director Kathryn Bigelow and said: “I haven’t really been following the controversy over ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron.”

Bill Clinton Introduces ‘Lincoln’ At Golden Globes

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton got a standing ovation from the A-list Hollywood stars when he surprisingly appeared to present an award at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

The 42nd president was on hand to introduce Steven Spielberg's Civil War film, "Lincoln," which was up for best drama.

After Bill Clinton left the stage Poehler, quipped, “Oh my god that was Hillary Clinton’s husband.”

Jodie Foster’s Moving Acceptance Speech

Jodie Foster had the Golden Globes audience on the edge of their seats as she accepted the special Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Lena Dunham’s Award Acceptance Speech

Her touching acceptance speech for best actress definitely moved everyone in the audience: "This award is for everyone who feels like there wasn't a place for her," she said. "This show made a space for me."

Lena Dunham, who won best actress in a TV comedy, also thanked her fellow nominees who "have made me laugh and comforted me at the darkest moments of my life."

"Julia, Tina, Amy and Zooey have respectively gotten me through middle school, mono, a ruptured eardrum, and the acute float anxiety that populates my entire life, and I worship them."

Final Words By The Gorgeous And Amusing Hosts

As the hosts said goodnight, Poehler said “We’re going home with Jodie Foster.”
