Haley Reinhart To Play Lollapalooza

Haley Reinhart will become the first American Idol act to play Lollapalooza when the festival returns to Chicago's Grant Park Aug. 3-5. It will be a hometown show for the third-place finisher on last year's American Idol -- she's a Chicago native -- and Haley will join such acts as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Keys, Black Sabbath and Jack White as part of the three-day festival.

The Lollapalooza lineup, announced Wednesday, also includes Florence and the Machine, Miike Snow, Bloc Party, the Shins, Bassnectar, J. Cole, Childish Gambino and dozens of other acts.

Haley will perform Saturday in the 2012 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, D.C. She also sang the national anthem at the home opener for the Detroit Tigers last week.

Haley's Listen Up! album is due May 22; single Free is currently at radio.
