Heroes star and recent Scream 4 actress Hayden Panettiere may be starting a new relationship with a high-profile athlete, as the 21-year-old was spotted with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez over the Memorial Day Weekend in Malibu.

Hayden recently split with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko. The breakup means the blonde actress, who also dated dated "One Tree Hill" star Stephen Colletti and her "Heroes" co-star Milo Ventimiglia can go after the single Mark Sanchez, but a source speaking to People said the two aren't dating just yet.

"They're not dating at all. They're really just friends."

On Monday, the two were seen stopping to eat at In-n-Out Burger, not exactly the ideal date spot, so we'll just have to wait and see if this possible couple starts hitting the beach as an item.
