A Greek God Cost This Man A Million Dollars

If you are curious over what it takes to become the worst Wheel of Fortune contestant ever, this man can serve as a case study.

Unbelievable as it may sound; Julian Batts of Indiana University missed out on $1 million for not knowing how to pronounce words in a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune.

In this video you can watch him bungle his way through the puzzles. The real cringe-worthy moment comes when he couldn’t even answer one that had even been revealed. All Batts had to do was to read the words The Mythological Hero Achilles.

Well, the words turned out to be his Achilles’ heel and cost him a shot at a million bucks. Oh, did we mention he managed to lose both a car and a trip to London as well?

Even if the host Pat Sajak took mercy on the contestant, he couldn’t let him go for his “A-chill-us.”

And that’s not all. He missed out on winning a car in the “person” category. Left with only two letters – an N and an M – Batts couldn’t complete the phrase The World’s Fastest Man.

Imagine getting selected by your college to represent them on the show and ending up in this inexplicable manner.

Amazingly he still won the show by gaining the most money.
