Over 5,000 rare photos of Hollywood legends are set to hit the auction block in what is being called the 'largest Hollywood auction ever' by organizers at Guernsey's Auction House in New York.
It is set to sell the first series of the Movie Star News collection founded in 1938 by Irving Klaw. It has taken Klaw over 50 years to amass millions of photos and negatives from movie studios and now Arlan Ettinger from Guernsey's is putting that collection up for grabs.
In addition to the 1,300 items from the Movie Star News, 600 lots will come from his work with Page.
The auction will take place on April 6th and 7th in New York and fans will have a chance to bid in person and on online.
