X-Men: Days of Future Past actors Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy revealed on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show that co-star Michael Fassbender could only be lured on-set by the Robin Thicke song “Blurred Lines”.
“Is it true that on set, you would play music?” the host asked to which Jackman replied, “Yeah, well I don’t know if you know this about Michael [Fassbender] but Michael is one of those actors that you have to coax out of the trailer. He’ll wait in there for hours and hours.”
“To get him out, there was really only one song so I used to get the sound guy to play it very loud in the studio.”
Norton later made the trio recreate the scenario by having Fassbender go backstage and then demonstrate what would happen if they started playing Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines.’
