Jack Gleeson who plays King Joffery on the extremely popular HBO series “Game of Thrones” has excellent thoughts to share on celebrity culture in his video essay.
The actor – who recently announced that he would quit acting when his role as King Joffrey on Game of Thrones comes to an end – spoke to an audience at the Oxford Union on Wednesday night.
In his speech, Gleeson said he didn’t like the whole idea of idolizing celebrities – which is a huge deal because he himself is one the most promising actors of this age. He gave some really good examples from his own life (surely you wouldn’t want to miss that).
Needless to say, the entire analysis was perfect.
