A day after his official bid for presidency, Jeb Bush made his first appearance on The Tonight Show to slow-jam the news with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots.
Following the format of the segment, Bush recited his election talking points as Fallon and Black Thought quipped with their hilarious, innuendo-laden lyrics.
For instance, when Bush says: “I’m looking forward to hitting the campaign trail and discussing the issues that are important to all Americans – and having spirited debates with my fellow Republicans about how to solve them.”
This is how the host responds: “After months of being a total caucus tease, Jeb finally made up his mind and quit beating around the Bush… You don’t want to mess with Little Jebby. Because when it comes to debating, he’s a master.”
“He’s a master-debater,” Black Thought interjects.
Before Bush, President Barack Obama, former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and NBC News anchor Brian Williams slow jammed the news with Fallon.
