Jessica Simpson's Father, Joe, 54, Allegedly Dating Male Model, 21

Jessica Simpson's father, Joe, has allegedly been having an affair with male model and former Britney Spears backup dancer, Bryce Chandler Hill, 21.

A male model is dating Jessica Simpson's recently outed father to climb the entertainment ladder, a source claims.

Bryce Chandler Hill, 21, has reportedly been bragging about his alleged affair with Joe Simpson, 54, for about a year, but he makes fun of the older man when not using him to advance his career, according to one of Hill's friends.

"Bryce is desperate to become famous, he's done lots of modeling shoots and wants to become an actor," a source told Radar Online. "When he met Joe, he knew what a good job he had done in managing Jessica and Ashlee's careers and wanted a piece of the pie himself."

Joe, on the other hand, truly cares for the male model, according to the source.

"But the sad thing is, he mocks and laughs at Joe behind his back. He doesn't care for him in the same way Joe does about him."

Bryce was introduced to the Simpson family by TJ Espinoza, who has worked as a backup dancer for Britney Spears and is a good friend of Joe's daughters, reported Radar Online.

Jessica — who famously couldn't tell that Chicken of the Sea was tuna fish on "Newlyweds" — also couldn't tell that her dad was gay. Now she is allegedly struggling to come to terms with his sexuality.

"Jessica had absolutely no clue that her father was gay, not even the slightest inkling," said the source. "She thinks she has very good gaydar, especially since a lot of her friends are gay, but she did not see this coming at all.

 "It was a complete shock to the system, she feels terribly for her mom who was left reeling by the announcement."

But the recent discovery was not news for everyone.

"Joe Simpson being outed by the National Enquirer was no surprise to the gay community in Hollywood. Bryce has been bragging about hooking up with Joe for a while now," the source said.

Tina Simpson filed for divorce from Joe in September. The previous month Joe was arrested for driving under the influence.
