But even after innumerable versions of the song, the internet and its crazy audience are still not in mood to give up their obsession for the No.2 song on the Billboard 100 chart.

In a recent performance with Carly Rae Jespen on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” the host and his house band joined Jespen to perform a stripped down version of the song with the help of kindergarten classroom band instruments. Prior to this, both Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and James Franco are among the top celebrities who have tried their hands in lip-syncing “Call Me Maybe”.

Further experiments were conducted by the Harvard Baseball Team in the form of their fist pumping version, which was later followed by the version of the song by the contestants of Miss USA. Even Obama sang the song! Whew, that’s a serious accolade!
