Jimmy Fallon Cracks Jokes About Troubled Amanda Bynes At The Emmys

Last night’s 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off with a bang (excuse the pun) last night when Jimmy Fallon joked about actress Amanda Bynes driving mishaps.

The comedian played host for the star-studded bash, and managed to shoe horn a joke in there about the troubled star when he was chatting to E! presenter Ryan Seacrest.

Arriving at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles ahead of the ceremony, Jimmy Fallon joked that he was feeling pretty lucky to be at the event especially as it was Bynes who drove him.

"I'm just happy to be alive, I just gotta be honest - Amanda Bynes gave me a ride over," he joked about the actress’ recent run-ins with the law. "I am just happy to be here."

And needless to say that ‘The Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ host didn’t call it a day there, as he also poked fun at director Clint Eastwood and his ‘chair’ antics.

“To be honest, I didn’t even have a ticket to the Emmy’s tonight, but Clint Eastwood saved me a chair,” he joked.
