Jimmy Fallon and his house band The Roots collaborated with Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, and several others to sing “Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street” to celebrate the 44th season of the show which aired on September 16, 2013.

Tariq Trotter of The Roots, better-known as Black Thought, had some additional lyrics prepared as a tribute for the Sesame Street muppets.

Big Bird is out, he's in the house / He's turnin' up, with Snuffleup /  They're really gettin' their hustle up / They stick together like Velcro / There Grover go, there's Elmo / And Cookie Monster there, look he likes / To take selfies with his cell phone…”
