A lot of people wait for Halloween because of Jimmy Kimmel’s awesome tradition of parents pulling a prank on their kids every Halloween. In what is already an online tradition, Jimmy Kimmel made sure this year was no different. The 2013 installment of ‘Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I told my kids I ate all their Halloween candy’ is as funny as when it began two years ago.

While children crying over candy is nothing new, as one of the little girls featured in the video puts it, they ‘walked over 2 hours collecting candy’, and that pain has to mean something. The howling children, weeping over the news of how their parents mercilessly ate away their hard earned candy, should not really be funny, but it really truly is.

As usual the parents were told to capture the kids’ reactions as they are told that all the candy that they collected was for some reason or another eaten up by their parents and to post it on YouTube. And it really is the funniest thing we’ve seen in a while.
