Jon Stewart Blasts Paul Ryan Over Homeless Shelter Photo Op (Video)

Election Day couldn’t come sooner for The Daily Show host Jon Stewart. The late-night show host started off on Wednesday by poking fun at Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s recently released photo at an Ohio homeless shelter, where he washed already cleaned dishes.

“Do you know how hard it is to make volunteering at a homeless shelter look like a negative thing?” Stewart said.

While campaigning in Youngstown, Ohio over the weekend Ryan decided to volunteer at a soup kitchen for his latest political stunt. And just like all those other times – the stunt backfired!

And as Stewart describes it, “And how dead inside does a national presidential campaign make you that you could be handed clean dishes and instead of saying, ‘Uh, you know these are clean right?’.

Well, Ryan needs to have a source of income for his family after elections. Right?
