Vogue’s decision to feature Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on its cover page incurred the wrath of many, including actress Sarah Michelle Gellar who even threatened to cancel her subscription of the fashion magazine.
However, for the internet trolls, the KimYe photo shoot turned out to be a blessing.
It all started when a couple of images from the upcoming issue were leaked online on Monday. Within a matter of hours, actors James Franco and Seth Rogen – who famously recreated West's overly affectionate "Bound 2" music video– posted a spoof of the couple's Vogue cover.
As if these weren’t enough, a day later, BuzzFeed contributor Katherine Miller noticed in one of the photos a huge photoshop gaffe.
Shouldn't…shouldn't Kanye be in the mirror? pic.twitter.com/ufjPLz5sFQ— Katherine Miller (@katherinemiller) March 24, 2014
Naturally, people made fun of it, saying Kanye West was possibly a vampire whose reflection wasn’t visible.
Subsequently, memes were made out of this image in which West can be seen taking pictures of people taking selfies.
