For her 1000th tweet, Lady Gaga released the video for her new single, "You and I."
"You must love all + every part of me, as must I, for this complex + incomprehensible force to be true," she wrote, along with a link to her YouTube channel.
The video starts out with Gaga -- dressed in black head to toe -- walking along a road in Nebraska, where she has come to reclaim her boyfriend, Luc Carl, in his home state.
It then cuts quickly between scenes: She's getting married, splashing her mermaid tail in a bathtub and buying ice cream from a creepy man with a doll.
Gaga's male alter ego, Jo Calderone, who appears on the single's cover, also stars in the video.
As a relatively makeup-free Gaga plays the piano in a corn field, Calderone sits atop her instrument swilling beer and messing with her hair.
The lyrics were inspired by Gaga's on-and-off relationship with New York City bartender Carl.
"I wouldn't have been as successful without him," Gaga has said of him. "I've never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me. It made me into a fighter.
"After I broke up with him, I promised myself I would never love again and would make him rue the day he doubted me. But then I again moved back to him. [It was] love."
"You and I," the fourth single from "Born This Way," features Queen's Brian May on guitar and was produced by Shania Twain's ex-husband "Mutt" Lange.
