Donald Trump can't go anywhere without controversy (usually of his own making) follow him. And his appearance on Saturday Night Live was no exception.
While protesters chanted outside the SNL studios and Trump was surrounded by his alter egos during the opening monologue, Larry David took the opportunity to shout what so many are thinking: "You're a racist!"
David, whose impeccable Bernie Sanders impression brought down the house on SNL before, had a good reason for his outburst.
"I heard if I did that, they’d give me $5,000," David admitted sheepishly.
The scripted interruption was a reference to Hispanic advocacy groups' offer to pay $5,000 to any audience member who called Trump racist on air.
Although the whole scripted bit was a joke, David might just get that payday in the end. The group Deport Racism has lauded David's efforts and wants to pay him the $5,000.
