It may be an Internet crime to talk about something more than 24 hours after the fact. But for those who have not checked Jimmy Fallon’s sketch (and I know there are many) on AMC’s Breaking Bad – or “Joking Bad” rather - they need to do it right now.
There were probably many people who were disappointed with the news that Fallon was replacing legendary Tonight Show host Jay Leno but “Joking Bad” only endorses the face that perhaps Leno’s gotta go and former Saturday Night Live (SNL) star is a breath of fresh air for the cable network, NBC.
Needless to say that only those who have seen the hit show will fully appreciate this epic Breaking Bad spoof. But even with the subject’s limited outreach, its still pretty funny.
Instead of cooking and dealing Crystal Meth, which the stars in the show do, Fallon and his comic buddies deal in jokes.
The Late Night Show segment featured cameos from Bryan Cranston, Bob Odenkirk, and Aaron Paul.
Breaking Bad is no stranger to Jay Leno’s comedy either.
Without giving too much away, Fallon embodies Cranston’s character, Walter White, to uncanny perfection.
While the language in the spoof may be a bit offensive to some audiences (who obviously need to lighten up), it brings out the character of the show so we’ll allow it.
