Lego Brings Life Size X-Wing From Star Wars At New York Time Square!

Here is what Lego has done. They have come out with their version of the legendary the X-wings from Star Wars. And if that wasn’t enough, they went out and created a Life-size model of the starfighters (42 feet long and 44-foot-wide) and placed it at no less than the Time Square!

Here is what Lego has done. They have come out with their version of the legendary the X-wings from Star Wars. And if that wasn’t enough, they went out and created a Life-size model of the starfighters (42 feet long and 44-foot-wide) and placed it at no less than the Time Square!

From dream to reality, the project took 32 builders over five million LEGO bricks and 17,000 hours!

This remarkable feat is part of the fever that has gripped the Star War fans leading to the episode VII of the series.

Disney has already confirmed the release of another Star Wars film. The JJ Abrams directed film is expected to begin shooting early this year. Despite movement on the film properties little is currently known about the future of Star Wars games.

Michael Kaplan has been brought on board to work on the costumes of "Star Wars Episode 7.

Scheduled to be completed in 2015, the cast has Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher lined up for action.  The filming is scheduled for early 2014.

No doubt the news as well as the hype is making all the die-hard StarWar fans have a hey-day!
