Jonah Hill’s monologue went a little off-track this weekend on SNL when audience members started asking him what his “Wolf of Wall Street” co-star was like on set.
Hill ignored at first and tried to continue, however, constant interruption from the crowd forced him to stop his act.
Frustrated from the disinterest in his performance, Hill took it as an opportunity to trash-talk about Leonardo DiCaprio.
“You wanna know the truth? The truth is, Leo wasn’t even supposed to be in the movie!” he said, adding that he called up the movie’s director “Marty” (Martin Scorsese) who told him that the film needed a real actor, like Hill.
Little did he know that DiCaprio was backstage the whole time, hearing each and every word his co-star had uttered.
The best part of the entire episode was when DiCaprio came onstage and confronted Hill – just to embarrass him further of course.
Later, just to make his co-star feel better, DiCaprio did something he knew would definitely cheer him up.
They re-enacted the flying scene from Titanic.
