Within minutes of its release, Lorde's new music video for her new single “Team” crashed Vevo on Wednesday morning.
She announced the release of the clip on Twitter, but a lot of users were not able to access the music video website.
Amused by the incredible response, Lorde tweeted her fans to calm down.

A 17-year-old singer-songwriter from New Zealand, Lorde’s first single, "Royals", debuted at number one on the New Zealand Top 40 as well as the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013. Her debut album “Pure Heroine” has sold over 413,000 copies, and Rolling Stone magazine recently named it the seventh best album of the year.
She is the first New Zealand solo artist to have a number one song in the United States.
Lorde posted “Team” on her Facebook account and also explained the concept of the video with a description.
“WE'RE ON EACH OTHER'S TEAM:
This video was borne from a dream I had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initiations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was queen. I dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plants and ruins and sweat. And of this world, I dreamt about tests that didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in: sometimes the person who loses is stronger. “
