One of the best moments from Sunday night’s Academy Awards was undoubtedly Pharrell Williams’ performance of “Happy,” from “Despicable Me 2?.
The singer rocked the audience with his power-packed gig during which he also serenaded the beautiful Oscar nominees Lupita Nyong'o, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, sitting in the front row.

Williams' "Despicable Me 2" track was nominated for the Best Original Song category against U2's "Ordinary Love" from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Karen O's "The Moon Song" from Her and written with Spike Jonze, and "Let It Go" by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez from Frozen – which eventually won the award.
