The former heavyweight-boxing champion knows exactly what Rousey is going through and has the perfect advice to help her get up off the mat.

There was a time when “Iron Mike,” the youngest heavyweight-boxing champion, was perceived as invincible. He was at the peak of his career until 11 Feb. 1990, when he lost to Buster Douglas in a shocking defeat.

Olympian bronze medalist Ronda Rousey went through something similar last year. Considered undefeatable up until that point, the former women's bantamweight champion lost her title to Holly Holm at UFC 193, after being knocked out with a perfectly timed head kick in the second round.

Since then, the 28-year-old has shied away from being in the spotlight. However Mike Tyson thinks she should “come out of the house.” After all, who could relate better to Rousey at this point than the 49-year-old boxing legend?

Appearing recently on Conan, Tyson even offered some words of advice to Rousey.

“She has to understand, we’re in the hurt business. I don’t care if you’re the king of the hurt business, we’re in the business where we get hurt,” he said. “And um, she’s just gotta be seen, come out of the house. I see she’s been around, show your face. You’re human. She’s just unfortunate that she’s a goliath.”
