Nick Loeb Pops The Question To Sofia’s Vergara On Top Of A Pyramid VIDEO

It couldn’t get any better than this. Modern Family Star Sofia Vergara was proposed to by boyfriend of several years, Nick Loeb on top of a Mayan Pyramid on her 40^th Birthday. And what better! Her son Manolo Gonzalez documented every single moment of how it went down.

Nick Loeb popped the question while at the Mayan archeological ruins of Chichen Itza with 107 members of Sofia’s family and friends. Sofía made one of her birthday dreams come true by getting on top of a Mayan pyramid. Although no one is allowed to climb the pyramids in Chichen Itza, Sofia was given special permission to go on top; despite this, she almost lands herself in jail for disobeying rules.

As the couple descends, Vergara wears a huge smile on her face, sporting a new ring on her left hand. She allows a close-up shot of the ring to camera at Manolo's request.

Next up, the family goes to a festive lunchtime party which had great food and a mariachi band playing in the background.  Sofia’s aunt joined the dancers and as Manolo says; his whole insane family followed her lead including his mother.

In the video, Manolo talks about the wedding proposal and the crazy birthday celebrations at the Mayan Pyramids and how it would have been sad but hilarious that she went to jail a day before her birthday.

Later in the fabulously never-ending week was the farewell dinner, where the family met yet again for a lavishly lit and musical night. The day after that was a bittersweet farewell to everyone as friends and family returned to their homes in different parts of the world.
