Just days after news broke of “Teen Mom” Farrah Abraham’s extensive plastic surgeries, she is making headlines again for her image-altering ways, this time not for her self but her three-year-old daughter Sophia.
In her Sulia blog, she admitted to waxing her daughter’s “unibrow” to fix up her appearance.
The reality star blogged:
While most parents would overlook something like a little extra hair on their three-year-old’s brow, Farrah decided to take matters into her own hands. “…I [tried] to wax her, the second a dab hit the Uni, she [touched] it with the towel she had in her hand…UHHH so now, wax was in the towel, and I yanked it back ASAP…OMG moment. So now Sophia was freaking out, so I had to act like it was a cool science project to get the wax off.”
“The next morning I showed her and told her how well she did and she didn't even know, She was more intrigued now to be ok with upkeeping her non-unibrow. I could tell she was proud.”
She concluded by saying, “Ah I feel like a good mom:) other moms tell me your ideas!”
The 21-year-old, Teen Mom star has caused outrage after she wrote about waxing her three-year-old daughter's unibrow on her Twitter page.
@f1abraham wow! Just...wow! I'm sorry that you feel that you have to push "beauty" on your 3 year old. She's gorgeous and does NOT need wax.— Laura Walker (@laurawalker86) January 4, 2013
One annoyed mother responded by saying:
'Is this a joke? You attempted to wax your THREE YEAR OLD'S unibrow?! And then proceeded to tweeze it? Wow. Now that is parenting at its finest.'
"I did not act upon any enhancements due to peer pressure, being irresponsible with money or secretly trying to imitate someone else,"she blogged. "I'm the only person in my family who has ever gotten cosmetic surgery. I do not feel everyone should have enhancements done. I wish everyone would love themselves natural and as beautiful as they are, and if a nose, or boob job is on your mind, you're not alone! Those are the most popular areas that change negatively with age!"
So, what do you think of Farrah waxing Sophia? Do you agree its actually teaching your kid to be insecure of who you are and what you look like at a tender age of three or not? Let us know with your comments.
