Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are ready to fight, but issues at HBO and Showtime continue to create delays.

Pacquiao vs Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are in the process of setting up their much anticipated fight, but with it six-years in the making, fans are doubtful if it will ever happened.

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather went to a Miami Heat basketball game at the end of January, and discussed details for more than an hour.

Mayweather recently released this photo and statement, asserting that it was not the fighters holding this deal back. I, for one, love seeing these two guys hang out almost as if they were friends, considering that they are discussing the details of how they will soon beat each other up.

The speculation behind the issues delaying the fights deal with their conflicting contracts. Mayweather is contracted with Showtime while Pacquiao is contracted with HBO.

The HBO President, however, said that he was doing everything that was necessary to make this fight happen and was not responsible for the delay.

Promoter Bob Arum told a different story.

"We had four issues and we resolved two. Now we're working on resolving the other two. Unless something else comes up at the last minute, that's what my take is."

Immediately after he issued this statement, representatives from all sides denied these issues.

Someone who wished to remain anonymous said to Yahoo Sports, "Believe me, if this fight doesn't get done, it will be because of Bob Arum. Nobody can figure what he is doing or why he is doing it."

I guess we will wait and see if the fight of the century will ever happen.
